For the past couple of years, we had been going out of town for Thanksgiving, including our survival trip in the Smokey Mountains in 2014.
It also came quite early this year on the 22nd.
This year we actually were hiding out at home and I had a wonderful time making a little dinner for us.
My husband and daughter don’t enjoy really enjoy these flavors that much so Thanksgiving is about the only time I make anything like this.
Here’s what we had this time:
Baked Tofu with Apples
Herbed Cornbread Stuffing (I love this!)
Mashed Potatoes with My 1/4 cup Gravy
Green Bean Casserole with GF Buckwheat Onion Crisps
Roasted Butternut Squash
Ginger Spiced Fresh Cranberry Sauce
I have started to use my Google Pixel phone in portrait mode! For food photography, it creates the look of a larger depth of field (hence the fuzzier background). Even though I have a DSLR now that I enjoy learning about and using, having this option on my phone leads to better spontaneous photos.
